The basics
- You must be 18 or older to use Costco Singles.
- Costco Singles is a parody. It is a satirical, independent project that comments on dating apps and warehouse-club culture. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Costco Wholesale Corporation; "Costco" and "Kirkland Signature" are that company's trademarks and are used here only to refer to it. Follow the rules of any store you're in; they can ask you to leave and we can't help with that.
- This is a pilot. Features may change, break or disappear. It's free during the pilot.
House rules
- Be honest: real name or nickname, real age, your own photo.
- Be decent: no harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, or trying to sell things.
- Leave the staff alone: warehouse employees are at work. Don't flirt with, ask out, photograph or mention employees. Employees may use the app only when off shift and out of uniform.
- Be safe: meet only at the suggested public spots inside the store. Don't follow people around the store, the parking lot, or anywhere else. Don't approach someone who hasn't matched with you.
- Don't spoof your location, scrape the service, or create more than one account.
Enforcement
We can suspend or delete any account for breaking these rules, usually without warning. Reports are reviewed by a person.
Liability
Costco Singles is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. You're responsible for your own interactions with other members, online and in person. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.
